We had a very good experience with the total package. The opera Aida was simply beautiful!! It has always been our wish to see Aida in Verona, also because we are living on a square called Aida. The city is beautiful as well and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
The total package was good and the service of OperaTravel as well. The opera, in our case Aida, was really great and a unique experience. We wanted to sit in the front and that is why we upgraded the seats and sat in row thirteen, we found the extra cost well worth it. However, it is true that all the places in the arena are great. It was very nice and cosy that when the opera was finished at 1.15 many people sat down for a drink and a snack on the terraces. We were two days longer in Verona than the standard package. I would not recommend this, because three days is enough to visit Verona. We took a trip by train to Lake Garda and spent the afternoon there on a pedalo, which we really liked.
The service of the employees of OperaTravel was very good. Verona is a wonderful city to visit for a few days. The opera Nabucco was fantastic!
The opera is an experience in itself, simply great, and the weather played a significant role in this as well, perfect. I am very pleased with the service of OperaTravel.
In general it was just EXCELLENT! This was by the way the second time we made this trip. Just on Schiphol it was extremely busy. We arrived there one and a half hour prior to the flight, but did not have a seat next to each other in the plane. We did sit next to each other, while we waited, until everybody was inside the plane. In the end there was a "group" (apparently a company outing) that did not check the seat numbers so we could stay seated next to each other. The opera was GREAT! Verona: special city: it is also nice to go on a tour by bus (double decker). Special as well: travel by train to Peschiere and then enjoy a boat trip on Lake Garda, to for example Garda or Sirmione.
