I have been before but this was my first time using a package. It made everything so much smoother and the service was brilliant from before we flew until the return. Your advise on all aspects of travel to and from airports and hotels was useful.
I only booked a package as it was a special present for a loved one and I did not want any hassle. It was so stress free I will do it gain. 
Our trip (mother and daughter) was from 16th Aug to 20th Aug 2013. The flight was good and we transfered by taxi (30 Euro) to hotel ''Maxim''.
This was a good hotel with clean sheets and towels provided daily. Our hotel was located 3 km from city centre and we used public transport which is cheap and easy to use in Verona. We saw Aida and Nabucco, both were absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed it very much and we think that everybody should experience this once. The seats (gradinata, cheapest category) were good. The total package was well organised, the service was very good. The city is very nice (good for shopping, especially shoes), churches are well worth a visit and the best cappucino can be found a little coffee shop (with just 6 seats) in the 'corso prta borsari). Piazza Erbe is also a nice spot. Just go and experience it, we enjoyed it very much!

Wonderful experience in the Verona Arena for 2 operas. Our hotel operated a superb Arena Shuttle Bus service - picking us up at 3am from the opera on one occasion !
Verona is a beautiful, compact, very ancient City - lovely open top tour buses enable you to see the whole of the City. Lovely atmosphere to the whole city.
do NOT book the Verona Moonlight Walking Tour with Tripadvisor. We booked beforehand and paid £47 each - people paying on the night paid £12 each.
Everything went exceptionally well for our first opera trip - it won’t be our last!
We attended the Opera in Verona which was well organised by Opera Travel (also known as Football Break). Our trip was very well organised by the staff who were helpful and assisted with any queries we had. The flights were good.
